The Elmasteam 8 med is ideal for the manual pre-cleaning and processing of medical instruments. The hand piece is equipped with a Luer Lock connector so that hollow instruments can be fixed to the hand piece and easily be pre-cleaned or processed inside. Cleaning with the Elmasteam 8 med DOES NOT replace the processing of instruments in a washer disinfector (WD). The stainless-steel surface of the casing can easily be kept hygienically clean. The pressure tank can be filled by hand through the filling duct on the unit top, or automatically by means of a pump from the tap or from a canister. The unit indicates the optimum filling level and gives a visual warning when the pressure tank has run empty. It also indicates when the pressure tank must be decalcified. An integrated decalcification programme with easy-to-carry out steps makes this a simple job. The Elmasteam 8 med is easy to operate, all functions are selected and activated by turning and pressing a button. The unit automatically switches into the Eco mode, the operating pressure is reduced to 3 bar. Lock mode for operating pauses, hand piece and foot switch are deactivated.
